Beth McConnell
Beth McConnell is a native of Anderson, SC. She is retired from BellSouth Corporation. She graduated from Forrest College, and attended Limestone College and Anderson College. Beth has a Master’s certification in Project Management from George Washington University and is a Certified Facilitator in Management Skills and Quality Assurance. She was the 1992 South Carolina Career Woman of the Year, was on the Planning Committee for and served as Treasurer of the International Quality Conference hosted by BellSouth, and was an official 1996 Olympic Volunteer.
She has been an associate of The McDougald Funeral Home since 2004. She is our family care receptionist. She is a member of Concord Baptist Church in Anderson and a former Sunday School teacher. She is married to Derrill McConnell, the retired chief of the Anderson City Police Department. They have three children and one grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, traveling and spending time with her grandson.
