Wm. Mark Rowland

Wm. Mark Rowland is a native of Belton. Mark was an honor graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science. He is a member and past president of Pi Sigma Eta, the national mortuary arts scholastic fraternity. Mark is a member of numerous occupational organizations including the National Funeral Directors Association, the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association, and the Academy of Funeral Service Professionals. Mark is also active within the Piedmont Group of the SCFDA. He is a member of the Greater Anderson Rotary Club, the Heritage Club of Anderson, and is the vice president of the Kiwanis Club of Anderson. Since 1999, Mark has served as a trustee of Belton Cemetery Foundation and has served as chairman of the foundation since 2005. In 2008, Mark joined the board of directors for the Greater Anderson Musical Arts Consortium. He is a communicant of Grace Episcopal Church in Anderson.

Mark has dual licensure in the state of South Carolina as a funeral director and embalmer. He is the Director of Funeral Service Operations at The McDougald Funeral Home.
