Our History...

Over 80 years of service...

My father, Douglas C. McDougald established our family-owned funeral home in the Anderson area years ago. Beginning his career of service in a funeral home at 600 South Main Street, he later constructed another facility at 2211 North Main Street, which is now our single location serving the community. Wanting to expand our service to the families of Anderson, we broadened our business and purchased Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Today, I maintain our company’s family traditions, along with my sons Douglas McDougald, III and Jess McDougald. We are all licensed funeral directors, and committed to the family’s three-generation heritage of service.
