DECEMBER 10, 1919 - JUNE 8, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Woodrow " Will" Wilson Hanks, Sr., age 93, husband of the late Evelyn Grace McMains Hanks, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC he was the son to the late Steven Hanks and the late Bessie Herron Hanks. He served with the Marines during World War II. Mr. Hanks was retired from the CIA. He is survived by his children; sons, Stephan Hanks and his wife, Donna of Gretna, VA, Woodrow Hanks, Jr. of Anderson, SC; daughters, Anna Hammer of Jacksonville, FL, Nancy Herman of Fort Lauderdale, FL; nine grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers; Harold, Todd, Tilman, and William Hanks; sisters, Bessie Hanks, Laura Bryant and Sara Hanks. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral. Interment will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, in Brentwood, MD on Friday, June 14, 2013. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
