ADELLE' SHAW HENDRIXSANDY SPRINGS, SCMrs. Adelle' Shaw Hendrix, of 210 Lakewood Drive, died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the Ellenburg Nursing Home.Born in Anderson, SC, Mrs. Hendrix was a daughter of the late Ervin Winkler and Lily Mae Cartee Winkler. She was a homemaker and a member of Asbury Baptist Church. Survivors include nine children, Betty S. Langston of Claremont, NC, Frank Shaw of Seneca, SC, Harold Shaw of Pendleton, SC, Larry Shaw of Sandy Springs, SC, Barbara S. Church of Greenville, SC, Linda S. Cochran of Sandy Springs, SC, Brenda S. Frye of Sparta, NC, Gary Shaw of Pendleton, SC, Kenneth Shaw of Surfside Beach, SC; seventeen grandchildren, Theresa L. Hefner, Geri L. Blanton, Dale Shaw, Greg Shaw, Debbie S. Crowe, Ricky Shaw, Joey Shaw, Kim C. Hawley, Mike C. Church, Mark C. Church, Ken Cochran, Michele C. Ware, Jeff Cochran, Bobby Frye, Andy Shaw, Jimmy Shaw, Carnice Campbell twenty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, James E. Winkler of Honea Path.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, the late Archie W. Shaw, and her second husband, the late Larry Bruce Hendrix; four grandchildren: Tony Shaw, Joe Frye, Kelly Langston, and Micah Shaw; one sister, Ella Mae Morgan and one brother, J.D. Winkler.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 2:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Reverend Fred Griggs. Interment will follow at the Memory Gardens, near Clemson. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 22, 2006 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.The family will be at 210 Lakewood Drive, Sandy Springs.In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Ellenburg Nursing Home, 611 E.
