Agnes Duncan Guyton, age 95, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at NHC of Anderson. Born November 3, 1921, Agnes was a daughter to the late Henry Phillip Duncan and the late Maude Wheeler Duncan. She was a graduate of Anderson College and Asheville Teachers College. She proudly taught first grade for Anderson District 1 for 38 years until her retirement. She was an active and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Williamston. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Dean and her husband, Dub, of Williamston, SC and Lillian Schomburg of Santa Paula, CA; and by her beloved cat, Whitie. In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Randolph Guyton and sisters, Ethel Cooley, Clara Duncan, Alene West, Lucille Jamieson, Barbara Kincaid, Emma Duncan and Edith Melton. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Reverend Brad Bardin officiating.
