SWALLOWMAY 28, 1916 - AuguST 8, 2010ANDERSON, SC ' Mrs. Agnes Kernen Swallow, age 94, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2010, at Park Place Assisted Living in Spartanburg, SC.Born in Fort Wayne, IN, on May 28, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Charles B. Girardot and Martha DeLaGrange Girardot. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Swallow was twice married; first to the late D. Max Kernen and secondly to the late Richard H. Swallow.Survivors include her children: Michael A. Kernen of Lakeland, FL, Timothy J. Kernen of Gainesville, GA, and Stephen P. Kernen of Lexington, SC; daughter, Karen S. Brazeal of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Vera Gross of Lake Tahoe, NV; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a son, Don Robert Kernen.A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 12, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
