She made her home in Missoula and its surrounding communities from 1997 until her death on August 12, 2009.She is remembered for having the freest of spirits and a loving soul. Aimee possessed an outgoing, fun-loving personality. She loved the outdoors, the rivers and the mountains of Montana ' the sunshine. Aimee loved to laugh and make us laugh with her. Her motto was, 'Love who you are'. Her friends and family were her life and her heart was as vast as the sky. In addition to the loved ones Aimee adored, she held an undying passion for Mickey Mouse and the band, Widespread Panic.She is survived by her mother and step-father, Dodie and Joey Thomas of Anderson; father, Michael M. Dobbins of Greenville; sisters: Mendi Poulsom of Liberty, Lori Dobbins-Parasho of Anderson, and Mikal Dobbins of Anderson; brother, Morgan Thomas of Anderson; niece, Malorie Mappin; and grandmother, Willie Mae Dobbins, both of Anderson; and countless cherished friends. She was the most unselfish person anyone could dream of and her loved ones can take comfort in knowing her soul will watch over us forever.A Service to Celebrate the Life of Aimee Dobbins will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home.
