Alan Dean Saylors, age 46 of Anderson, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014. Born in Anderson, SC on July 3, 1967, Alan was the son of Brenda Louise Hubbard Morris of Anderson and the late Eugene Dorsey. He was employed with Dwight Davis Collision. He is survived by his mother; sons, Joshua and Christopher Saylors; daughter, Amanda Saylors; brothers, Eugene Dorsey, Jr., and Mark Anthony; sister, Allison Lanier; five grandchildren; his special love, Sherry Dutton; step-mother, Faye H. Saylors, all of Anderson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Saylors and one grandson. The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 200 Carswell Drive, Anderson on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 4:00 pm. The family request that flowers be omitted.
