TONY LEWIS August 31, 1955- December 21, 2006STARR, SCMr. Albert Tony Lewis, age 51, of 1604 Brown Road, Starr, SC, died Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on August 31, 1955, Mr. Lewis was a son of Martha Carnes Owens and the late Albert 'Coot' Lewis. He was a former employee of Jackson Mill in Iva and was employed with Pike Electric Company for over twelve years. He was a member of Poplar Spring Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman.Survivors include his spouse, Rhonda Fleming Lewis of the home; mother, Martha Carnes Owens and stepfather, Gaine Owens of Iva; son Albert Tony Lewis, Jr., and his wife, Angel of Starr; sister, Teresa Lewis Brickle and her husband, Johnny of Lowndesville; two grandsons, Drew and Jacob Lewis and grandmother, Helen Carnes.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Ray Lewis; grandfather, J. C. Carnes and grandparents, Bill and Opal Lewis.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Bruce Evans. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery in Iva.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 23, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
