Albert Bruce Mattison, age 87, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Born May 29, 1939, in Laurens, SC, he was a son of the late Thomas Clyde "T.C." Mattison and Ethel Elizabeth Lyons Mattison. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Mattison; daughter, Deborah Louise Mattison; brothers, Denver Mattison, Robert Mattison, and James Mattison; and sister, Juanita Adams.

Albert was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglass where he was affectionately known by his co-workers as "Footsie". He was a hard worker and an excellent provider for his family. Albert was an avid collector of many things and enjoyed his CB radios and electronics. Most of all, he loved his family and was truly a good man and a friend to all.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula Sauls (Rickey); brother, Paul Mattison (Saundra); grandchildren, Janie Leibell (David), Sydney Yates (Colton), and Samantha Sauls (Lucas); great grandchildren, Eliza Leibell, Jay Leibell, and Mila Yates; and special friend, Mary Kelly.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Michael Rippy officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 1:00-2:00 pm.
