He loved horses, was an avid gardener, woodworker and winemaker.Survivors include his son, Gunars Ozolins and his wife Donna Sprowls of Belton; four grandchildren, Bryan Robert Ozolins, Amanda Louise Ashburn, Scotty Andrews, and Karen Fanning; four great-grandchildren, Robert Dean Ashburn, Noah Austin Fanning, Ava Bailey Fanning, and Olivia Jordan Fanning; and a niece, Silvija Vanburen.In addition to his parents, Mr. Ozolins was predeceased by his wife, Paule Alma Freitag Ozolins and two brothers.A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Pastor J. Chris Fischer officiating.
