He was a United States Navy veteran and retired from Duke Power in 1993 with 20 years of service. He attended High Praises Church of God.Survivors include his wife of the home; sons, Kenneth Roy Lee and his wife, Wanda and Jimmy Allen Lee and his wife, Christi, all of Anderson; daughters, Felicia Faye Tarte and her husband, Robbie of Gastonia, NC, Sherry Ann Kurz and her husband, John of Chicago, IL, Tina Renee Hankins and her husband, David and Sandra Lee Jenkins and her husband Ramey, all of Anderson; brothers, Russell and Jimmy Lee of Atmore, AL and Earl Lee of Orangeburg, SC; sisters, Teresa Taylor of Franklin, NC and Martha Heathcoe, of New Hope, AL; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Chris Sustar.
