ALICE 'JEN' CAMPBELL May 8, 1935 - July 8, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Alice Virginia Poteat Campbell, age 72, wife of Wayne Campbell of 1420 Norris Road, Anderson, SC, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on May 8, 1935, Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of the late Albert Poteat and Ruth Arrowood Poteat. She retired from care giving, sitting with the terminally ill. She was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School class. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Campbell of the home; son, Michael Wilson and his wife, Robin of Charleston, SC; daughters, Vivian Timms, Sheila Mahoney and her husband Steve, all of Anderson, Martha Bolt and her husband, Mike of Williamston and Mary Cox and her husband Ricky of Inman; brother, Daniel Poteat of Georgia; sister, Jean Gunter of Wagner, SC; five granddaughters, Tonya Selman, Tiffany Thrasher, Brittany Timms, all of Anderson, Victoria Graham of Williamston and Tiffany Wilson of Charleston; one grandson, Mitchell Wilson of Charleston; nine great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and numerous step-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Carnes and Helen Dyches.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Ray Thompson officiating.
