ALICE CHAMBERS July 30, 1944 - February 1, 2007GREENVILLE, SCMrs. Alice Anderson Chambers, age 62 of 104 Pelham Springs Place, Greenville and wife of the late Ed Chambers, died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at her residence after an extended illness.Mrs. Chambers was born in Anderson County on July 30, 1944 and was the daughter of the late W. W. 'Bill' and Marjorie Truitt Anderson. A lover of music, her memberships included the Crescent Music Club, Chamber Music of Greenville, International Chamber Music and Brevard Music Center Little Theater. She was a member of the Greenville Country Club and the First Baptist Church of Greenville.Survivors include one son, John William Anderson of Greenville, SC; one brother, Kent Anderson and his wife, Donna of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, John William Anderson, Jr., Derial Calhoun Anderson and Francis Truitt Anderson all of Columbia, SC; nephew, Will Anderson and his wife, Kim Anderson.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2007 in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Greenville at 3:00 pm with the Reverend Dr. Jeff Rodgers officiating.
