ANDERSON, SC'Mrs. Alice Eugenia Smith Coppage, age 76, widow of H. Clyde Coppage of 404 Westwood Drive, Anderson, SC died Friday, February 17, 2006 at her residence.Born in Anderson, SC on November 2, 1929, Mrs. Coppage was the daughter of the late Roy Pearson Smith and the late Jessie Dean Smith Fredericks. She was a 1946 graduate of Girls High and worked in the family floral business, Fredericks Flowers, until it was sold in 1996. and was a member of Landmark Free Will Baptist Church.Mrs. Coppage is survived by a son, Henry Coppage and his wife Annette of Starr, SC; a daughter Brenda Berry and her husband Danny of Anderson, SC; a brother, Dean 'Jimmy' Smith of Greenville, SC; three grand-daughters, Melissa Berry Mays and her husband Cory, Melinda Berry Holland and her husband Aaron, and Kendall Coppage Bennett and her husband Josh; a grandson, H. Ryan Coppage; two step-grand-daughters, Lisa Rapien and her husband Bernie and Dina Taylor and her husband Brad; and eight great-grandchildren.The family is at the residence.
