Alice Knox Deville, age 93, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to the late Bernard Joseph Deville for 51 years until his death in 2000, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at her residence. Born August 31, 1929, in Allen Co., IN, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. Knox and Irene Nowles Knox. She formally worked as a greeter for Wal-Mart on Hwy. 28 Bypass and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, Walter Deville of Anderson, SC, and John Deville (Sherry) of Tulsa, OK; sister, Evelyn Baker of Kendallville, IN; grandchildren, John B. Deville and C. Scott Deville; and great-grandchildren, Mikah and Mikayla. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her four brothers.
