OBITUARYMRS. ALICE FAY HIGGINBOTHAM March 21, 1945 - April 22, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs.Alice Fay Standridge Higginbotham, age 62, of 204 C. Street, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at her residence.Born in Anderson, SC, on March 21, 1945, Mrs. Higginbotham worked in textiles and was a member of the House of Prayer.Survivors include, her mother, Laura Addison Standridge of the home; a son, Gregg Harrell of Anderson; daughters, Tammy Argo and her husband, Andrew of Abbeville, SC, Shelby Higginbotham of Anderson, SC, Paula Glenn and her husband Alton of Anderson, SC, Michelle Higginbotham and her husband Rudolph Adams of Anderson, SC; a brother, Melvin Standridge and his wife, Shirley of Anderson; sisters, Darlene Oakley and her husband, Bobby of Starr, SC, Diane Harrell and her husband, Bean of Anderson, and Patsy Moore and her husband, Jimmy of Anderson; a sister-in-law, Joyce Standridge of Anderson. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.In addition to her father, Jason Standridge, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Standridge.The Funeral Service will be held at the House of Prayer on Evergreen Street on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 3:00 pm officiated by the Reverend Jerry Nation, Reverend Mike Harrell, and Sister Gertrude Smith.
