Alice Irene Lehman Sautter, age 77, of Anderson, SC, passed away on March 13, 2013 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Millers Falls, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Lehman and the late Stella Ann Kowalczyk Lehman. Mrs. Sautter graduated from Becker College in Worchester, Massachusetts and was employed with Bendix Corporation in MA, then later with Iva Medical Center for fifteen years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the SJC Knit Club. She is survived by her loving husband, William Brian Sautter of the home; three sons, Brian William Sautter (Monica) of North Augusta, SC, Michael Charles Sautter (Isabella) of Los Angeles, CA and Timothy Edward Sautter (Jennifer) of Conway, SC; one brother, William Lehman (Joyce) of Bandera, TX; a brother-in-law, Richard Sautter (Carolyn) of Cape Elizabeth, MA ; one sister-in-law, Janet Dennen of Raleigh, NC and nine grandchildren, Noah and Gabe Sautter of North Augusta, SC, Nicholas, Matthew, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Rebecca Sautter all of Los Angeles, CA and Graysen and Braxton Sautter of Conway, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Lehman and Lucy Bidwell, two brother-in-laws, William Dennen and Fred Bidwell and one grandson, Jacob Lehman Sautter. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM Monday, March 18, 2013 at St Joseph Catholic Church with Father Paul Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 3PM until 5PM at The McDougald Funeral Home.
