Born in Anderson, SC, on December 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Hart and the late Ella Elgin Hart. She worked for Glut Mill as a spinner. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Latham and her husband, Bobby of Belton, SC; two sisters, Laura Ruth Elgin and Bertha Mae Burdette both of Iva, SC; three grandchildren, Joey and Shannon Hanks, Kenneth Fisher; three great-grandchildren, Brad Lee Hanks and his fianc Rachel Phillips, Jared Hogan and Robin Fisher; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Plumer Duckworth and her second husband, Bill Weller; son, Charles Edward Duckworth; brothers, Sam Hart, Robert Lee Hart, Willis Matthew Hart and Lewis Hart; sister, Carrie Bell Taylor. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Fred Scarborough and Pastor Stan Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes, 626 Haynie Mill Road, Belton, SC 29627 and 1618 S. McDuffie Street, Anderson, SC, 29621 and will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Flowers will be accepted.
