Allie Sue Richey Belton, SC Allie Sue Brock Richey, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, on March 13, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Norman Brock and the late Ruth Young Brock. She was a 1959 graduate of Palmetto High School. She was a devoted stay-at-home mother and later became employed with Anderson Armored Car Service. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, David Richey, Sr.; two sons, David Richey, Jr. and his wife Melinda and Farron Richey, all of Belton, SC; three sisters, Norma McKanna, of Summerville, SC, JoAnne Timmerman, of Columbia, SC, and Nancy Wilson, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and six grandchildren, Brock, Hannah, Allie, Clarke, Will, and Julia Richey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Tom Brock. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Bob Clardy officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home, on Friday, prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitefield Baptist Church, 207 Mitchell Road, Belton, SC 29627, or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
