Almeda Marie Gruendling, age 94, went home to be with her Savior and Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in York, PA on June 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Enza Wilt. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ralph A. Gruendling; two sons, James Frye Nelson and his wife Natalie, and Ralph C. Gruendling and his wife Rebecca; and four grandchildren, Matthew Nelson, Caren Johnson, Caleb Gruendling, and Seth Gruendling. The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ralph C. Gruendling officiating. A private interment will take place at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery.
