ALTON "SHORTY" BRYANT December 25, 1952 - July 9, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Alton Randolph Bryant, age 60, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Clarence Randoph Bryant and the late Virginia Bell Bryant. He was a retired car detailer and an avid hot rod and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a member of The Peckerwood Motorcycle Club. "Shorty" enjoyed his peacocks, turkeys and rabbits. He was a kind and loving man and a big-hearted friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his son, Shannon Bryant; a step-son, Michael Poole; a sister, Deborah Ballew; and three grandchildren, Collin, Faith and Shanna Faye. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Poole; and a sister, Kathy Segers. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Harrell and Reverend Sam Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of Tommy Segers, 242 Crestview Drive, Starr, SC and will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
