Alton Wayne Hill, age 79, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Franklin County, GA on April 25, 1937, he was the son of the late Marvin and Georgia Lankford Hill. He was a graduate of Royston High School and Tri County Technical College. Alton worked in the construction industry as a water distribution technician. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Danielsville, GA. He is survived by his loving wife, Robbie Sue Beatenbough Hill; a son, Mike Hill, of Anderson, SC; a brother, Douglas Hill and his wife Kathy of Danielsville, GA; and a sister, Peggy Thrasher of Royston, GA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Wayne Hill; and a sister, Nancy Scott. The Graveside service will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at New Danielsville Cemetery in Danielsville, GA with Reverend Glenn Guest officiating.
