ALTON "TRIGGER" TEAGUE October 13, 1940 - August 19, 2013 Alton Kenneth "Trigger" Teague, age 72, of Hapeville, GA, formerly of Pendleton, SC, passed away at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Decatur, GA, on Monday, August 19, 2013. Born in Pendleton, he was the son of the late Joseph Bennett Teague and the late Corrie Brock Teague. Mr. Teague was a graduate of Pendleton High School, and proudly served his country in the US Army. Mr. Teague was a former employee of Eastern Airlines and also worked for many years in the air freight industry. He loved music, playing jokes and exchanging tall tales with his friends and family. Alton was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church of Pendleton. Survivors include 2 daughters, Kathy Jane Teague of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Tammy Denise Teague Baker and her husband, David, of Stockbridge, GA; 1 brother, Charles Edward Teague of Chamblee, GA; 3 grandchildren, Emily Erin Baker, Sofia Alyssa Baker and Olivia Gabrielle Baker. Also surviving is his grand-dog, Toby. In addition to his parents, Alton was preceded in death by a son, David Kenneth Teague; 2 brothers, Eugene Teague and Joe Ray Teague; and 2 sisters, Alma Faye Teague and infant Rachael Teague. A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Alton Teague will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 2 PM at the Faith Fellowship Baptist Church in Pendleton, with Pastor Brad Hanks officiating. Interment will follow at the First Baptist Church Cemetery of Pendleton. The family will be at their respective residences and will receive friends at the Faith Fellowship Baptist Church on Thursday from 12 Noon until 1:30 PM.
