ALVIN HUTCHINSON July 10, 1912 - September 3, 2006STARR, SCMr. Alvin Macklin Hutchinson, age, 94, husband of Mary Alice Morrow Hutchinson of 308 McCoy Drive in Starr, died Sunday, September 03, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Lowndesville, SC on July 10, 1912, Mr. Hutchinson was a son of the late Mallie B. Hutchinson and Mary Lou Kelly Hutchinson. He was retired from Bigelow Sanford, Rocky River Plant and was a farmer. He was also a produce vendor at the Anderson County Farmers Market. He was a member of Norris Hill Presbyterian Church where he was Elder Emeritus and was a former member and elder at Providence Presbyterian Church in Lowndesville, SC for many years. Mr. Hutchinson served in the United States Army.Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Morrow Hutchinson of the home; sons, Eugene Hutchinson of Atlanta, GA, Kelly Hutchinson and his wife, Ann of Anderson, SC, Tony Hutchinson and his wife, Marcia of Eldon, MO and Wayne Hutchinson and his wife, Cathy of Columbia, SC; daughter, Rebecca Majeski of Columbia, SC; sisters, Marie Hutchinson of Lowndesville, SC and Frances Belcher of Aiken, SC. Grandchildren, Eric, Shawn, Robert and Jane Hutchinson of Eldon, MO; Adrea Hughes of Clemson, SC, Tiffany Hutchinson of Anderson, SC, Katie, Sam, Spencer, Martha, Mary Grace and Abigail Hutchinson of Columbia, SC also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, B. B. Hutchinson and Bandon Hutchinson and sisters, Catherine Hutchinson and Ruth McCarley.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Bud Griffith and Mark Horne. Interment will follow in Norris Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 4, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Memorials may be made to Calvary Home for Children, 511 W.
