MooreSeptember 13, 1927-August 20, 2005ANDERSON, SC'Mr. Alvin Henry Moore age 77, of 1610 Denver Road, Anderson, SC died Saturday, August 20, 2005 at the Richard Michael Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, Anderson, SC.Born in Oconee County, SC on September 13, 1927 Mr. Moore was the son of the late George Daniel Moore and the late Ida Chappell Moore. He retired from LaFrance Industries. Mr. Moore was a U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II. He was also of the Baptist faith.Mr. Moore is survived by three sons, Tony Moore of Starr, SC, Terry Moore of Sandy Springs, SC, and Jerry Moore of Anderson, SC; a brother, Evertie Moore of Booneville, KY; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and James Moore.The family is at their respective homes.
