Amanda Jones Anderson, SC Amanda Renee Gaines Jones, age 35, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, on July 14, 1978, she was a daughter of Renee Nix Gaines, of Anderson and the late Roger Dale Gaines. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Christopher Lee Jones and John Logan Jones, both of Anderson, SC; a sister, Angela Gaines Madden, of Anderson, SC; her maternal grandmother, Grace L. Nix, of Central, SC; a niece, Olivia Madden; and three nephews, Greyson Madden, Liam Madden and Knox Madden. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, William L. Nix, Jr.; and her paternal grandparents, Donolee and Mae Bell Gaines. The Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Amanda will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Brent Lollis officiating. The family will be at 2407 Pope Drive, Anderson, SC and will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
