Anakin Tarron Lear Baldwin, age 5, of Pelzer, SC, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024.

Born November 12, 2018, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Austin Lear Baldwin and Harriet Samantha Gilbert Baldwin.

Anakin was like most little boys and loved monster trucks, airplanes, tractors, and Disney movies. He was a huge NASCAR fan and loved #5 Kyle Larson. He was all boy and loved anything dirt, bugs, and motors. He especially loved playing in his Poppy's shop every day, but not before stopping to get cookies from Mam Maw. Anakin was so loved and was a joy to be around. He will be missed beyond measure.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory includes his brothers, Logan Douglas, Nathan Baldwin, and Teddy Baldwin; sisters, Isabella Baldwin and Alexis Baldwin; grandparents, Michael Baldwin, Tramayne Tucker, Danny Mullinax, Joyce and Sam Robinson, Linda and Dennis Guerin, Rebecca and Gary Baldwin; and a host of other family.

He was preceded in death by grandmother, Melissa Robinson; and sister, Opal Baldwin.

The family will host a memorial service on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 4:00 pm at Midway Bible Church.

The family will be at the home of Linda and Dennis Guerin, 100 Gilbert Dr., Pelzer, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MUSC Pediatric Rheumatology Department.
