Anthony Boyd Craft, age 60, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Richland Hospital in Columbia.
Born January 3, 1962, in Anderson, he was the son of the late Frankie Craft and Joyce Minyard Craft.
Andy attended Westside High School. During high school and shortly after, Andy worked for Slim's Tire. For many years, Andy and his family owned and operated Heritage Auto Sales while also becoming an electrician. He began boxing at age 15 with trainer Nick Nicometo, longtime friend and mentor Sammy Horne at The Anderson Club. He became a professional boxer and after boxing his hobbies were fishing, football, baseball, and NASCAR. Andy "The Kid" Craft was a die-hard fan of the Atlanta Braves, Clemson Tigers, and Carolina Panthers.
He is survived by his children, Sheldon Craft Miller and her daughter, Oaklyn; Chandler Craft, his wife Haley and their children, Braelee, Cannon, and Saylor; and Jarrod Craft; sister, Tina Craft Lister and her children, Charli Sanders and Chevis Morris; and special relatives, Franky Moore and Jackie Smith.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. in The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon Bagwell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Chapel.
