James Andrew "Bop" Lingefelt, age 54, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Born on April 2, 1963, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Susie Durham Riley and R. Jack Lingefelt, Sr. He retired from A & K Crane, which he owned. He was hard working and supported his family. He touched many lives with great acts of kindness and sharing his faith in Christ. He loved fishing and was a part of many tournaments. He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Melissa Langston Lingefelt; three loving children, Tully Lingefelt (Angel), Cody Lingefelt (Amber), and Kelsea Mason (Jeremy); a sister, Gail Jameson (David); a brother, Jack Lingefelt, Jr.; five grandchildren, Landon, Colton, Jeremy, Eli, and Kaylee; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Refuge Baptist Church with Reverends Mark Duncan, Albert Couch, and Heath Bowie officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
