Annie B. Alexander, age 84, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born November 22, 1938, in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late James Lewis Hicks and Lois Swaney Hicks. Ann retired from SC DHEC after 20 years of service and was an income tax preparation specialist for 45 years. She loved doing crafts and working in her yard. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren dearly and her home was a second home to her grands. She is survived by her sons, Dickie Ray Alexander (Ruth Ann), Gregory Marcus Alexander (Angela), and Timothy Clinton Alexander (Abbie); daughter, Tammy Dianna Alexander; sister, Ernestine Richardson; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 sister and 4 brothers. The family will receive friends Monday, December 12, 2022, from 2:00-3:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Ray Alexander officiating.
