Ann Moses Elrod passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at her home. Born in Franklin, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carl David Moses and the late Alice Watts Moses. She was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy L. Elrod; two sons, David Ledford, of Richmond, VA, and Jimmy Ledford, of Dahlonega, GA; a daughter, Sharon Dowd, of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Jerry Moses, of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Betty Goode, of Mills River, NC, and Marlene Jones and her husband John of Bay Minette, AL; and numerous grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Taylor; a sister, Fran May; and a brother, David Moses. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Rigsby officiating. Entombment will be held at Oconee Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Anderson Baptist Church, 2308 N.
