Ann Welborn Fisher, age 98, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017, at NHC of Anderson. Born June 29, 1919, Ann was the daughter of the late Edward Truman Welborn and the late Lola Love Irby Welborn. She was a committed homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Anderson. She is survived by her sister, Edith Self; daughter-in-law, Melissa Fisher, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fisher was the eldest of six children and was devoted to her siblings and their children as well as her husband and son. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lamar Fisher and beloved son, Ronald Fisher; sisters, Matilda Butler, Elizabeth Martin and Lois Welborn; and a brother, Charles Truman Welborn. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Greenville, SC with Reverend Andrew Limbaugh officiating.
