F, Anderson, SC, wife of the late Donnie F. Grogan, died Sunday, August 20, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on May 13, 1953, Mrs. Grogan was a daughter of the late Charlie M. Smith and Mildred Green Smith. She was a member of Whitefield Baptist Church and a homemaker.Survivors include daughter, Penny Rebecca 'Becky' McElroy and her husband, Hugh and Mary Beth Buchanan and her husband, Kevin, all of Anderson; a brother, Roy Smith and his wife, Betty of Williamston; sisters, Peggy Shirley and her husband, Melvin and Debbie Thrift and her husband, Rick, all of Anderson. Four grandchildren also survive.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan.
