Helen Ann Ayers McAlister, age 53, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 26, 2021, at Rainey Hospice House. Ann had a big heart and loved encouraging and keeping up with people. She enjoyed cross stitch and plastic canvas and loved cats. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Robert McAlister of the home; and several brothers and sisters. In addition to her adoptive parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 29, 2021, from 12:30-1:30 pm New Prospect Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Tom Turner and Rev. Bill Jordan officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Remembrance I Chapel.
