Ann Hamacheck Miller, age 92, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 6, 1929, in Sheboygan, WI, she was the daughter of the late William Hamacheck and Edith Marcussen Hamacheck. She was married to William A. Miller until his death in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Hamacheck, Jr., and sister, Ruth Hamacheck Gorman. Ann and her husband lived in South America, primarily in Brazil, for over 35 years during his working career, then retired to Anderson in 1992. Ann's interests included golfing, gardening, walking, water aerobics, playing bridge, and needlework. Ann loved animals and had numerous 4-legged family members, including cats, dogs, and horses. She was a member of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) Chapter L, Anderson, and a member of Roberts Presbyterian Church. Her energy, adventurous spirit and active lifestyle were an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be missed. She is survived by her children, Peter Miller (Julia Whitehead) of New York City, NY; Susan Miller of Dover, DE; and grandchildren Pearson Miller, Katherine Miller, and Malcolm Miller. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Roberts Presbyterian Church. The family will speak with guests immediately following the service.
