Ann Kemp Osika, age 95, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at NHC Healthcare Mauldin. Prior to retiring to Anderson, she raised her family in North Brunswick, NJ. She was born November 15, 1925, in Augusta, GA, and was a daughter of the late Charles Clerc Kemp and Annie Sheehan Kemp. She was married to Frank T. Osika until his death in 2011. Ann worked for the U.S.O. during WWII and was a pink lady volunteer with AnMed Health for 25 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she enjoyed being a part of the Hilltoppers. She is survived by her sons, Peter Michael Osika (Sue-Ellen) and David Martin Osika (Joanne); daughters, Patricia Osika Clark (George) and Catherine Osika Landreth (Wayne); grandchildren, Cynthia Wallace (Dennis), Michael Vingara (Nikki Shifren), Tony Vingara (Patrizia Accordino), Megan Osika-Dass (Disha), Daniel Osika (Laura), Ted Landreth, and Ali Landreth; and seven great grandchildren, Collin, Sean, Erin, Caitlin and Megan Wallace and Juda and Isaac Vingara-Shifren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, William Wayne Landreth, III; and siblings, Mary Pollock, Janell Rowe, and Charles Kemp. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 9:00-10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The funeral mass will begin at 10:00 am with Father Philip S. Gillespie officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
