Anna Porphirivna Kril, age 78, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, at her home. Born March 7, 1944, in Sokal, Ukraine, she was the daughter of the late Porphiry Prus and Feodosiya Timoshchyuk. She was married for 56 years to Iosif N. Kril until his death on July 7, 2021. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Anna and her husband moved to the United States with their family in 2001 and to Anderson in 2007. She was known for her cooking and baking skills and used traditional Ukrainian recipes and showed her love to others with her food. She was loving, kind hearted, and gracious. Anna enjoyed being around all of her family and taking care of them. She always made sure to have chocolate candy for her grandchildren. She was a lady of great faith, a prayer warrior and member of Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church. She is survived by her daughter, Nadiya Shkaradyuk; son-in-law, Svyatoslav Shkaradyuk; son, Vladimir I. Kril; daughter-in-law, Rayisa Kril; grandchildren, Ruslan, Vitaliy, Anzhelika, and Zoriana Shkaradyuk, and Vitaliy, Jessica, and Karina Kril; granddaughter-in-law, Alla Shkaradyuk; and great grandchildren, William and Oliver Shkaradyuk. An evening service will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 6:00 pm at Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church with Rev. Piotr Nestertsov officiating. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 3, 2022, at 11:00 am at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
