Anne Helme Cook, age 84, formerly of Anderson, SC passed away at Bristol Regional Medical Center, in Bristol, TN. Born September 28, 1933, in Washington, DC, Anne was a daughter of the late Harry Guy Helme and the late Lucille Virginia Chamberlain Helme. She was a long-time member of the Church of God and most recently attended Grace Point Church in Bristol, TN. She is survived by her son, Charles C. Cook (Lynn), of Anderson, SC; daughters, Doris Anne Cook, of Charleston, SC, Billie Jean Jackson (Jimmie), of Orlando, FL, Linda Cook Cason, of Statesville, NC and Karen Cook Anderson (Ken), of Bristol, TN; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman D. Cook. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Dale Dyar and her son-in-law, Reverend Ken Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
