Anne Elizabeth Wooldridge Coyle, age 82, of Clemson, SC, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC. She was born June 30, 1940 in Norwich, England, where she lived until moving to the United States in 1960. She was the daughter of the late Albert Victor Wooldridge and Lily Maud White Wooldridge. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gene Anderson Coyle. She worked in the textile industry as a weaver and also as a homemaker. She will be remembered as a wonderful baker, seamstress and fabulous mother who loved her children and grandchildren. Her favorite activity was spending time around the table playing games with her family. She is survived by her sons, Michael Coyle (Charity) and Mark Coyle (Christy); daughters, Michele Davis (Robbie) and Melanie Moon (Tyler); 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the McDougald Funeral Home Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon. A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
