The McDougald Funeral Home2211 North Main StreetAnderson, South Carolina 29621864-224-4343OBITUARY: Anderson, SC ANNE EWINGMAY 13, 1931 - May 29, 2011ANDERSON, SC ' Anne Elizabeth Robinson Ewing, age 80, of 139 Bradley Park, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011, at the Rainey Hospice House.Born May 13, 1931, in Orlando, FL, she was a daughter of the late Dell Robinson and Kathleen Robinson. She was a graduate of Orangeburg High School and received her certification as a Registered Medical Technician from Orangeburg Regional Hospital. Mrs. Ewing was an avid bridge player as well as former volunteer with Hospice of the Upstate. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she had served in numerous capacities, particularly within her Circle Group. She and her husband have both served as delegates to the South Carolina Methodist Conference. In earlier years, she had served within Girls Scouts and Cub Scouts.Survivors are her husband, Dr. Bill R. Ewing, of the home; a son, Billy Ewing and wife, Nancy, of Anderson, SC; a daughter, Deborah Bonin and husband, Tom, of Anderson, SC; grandchildren: Joey Bonin, Matthew Bonin, Jordan Bonin, Emily Grace Ewing, Lori Sloan and husband, Michael, Tyler Williams and wife, Michaela; sister, Mary Crawford of Charlotte, NC; and brother, David Robinson of McBee, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Philip Ewing; and a brother, John Robinson.A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Paul Frey.
