Anne Honeycutt Anne Ritter Honeycutt, age 77, of 1300 Wellwood Drive, died on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Albemarle, NC, she was a daughter of the late E. P. Ritter and the late Mary Efird Ritter. For 57 years, she was the loving and devoted wife of Stan Honeycutt of the residence. Mrs. Honeycutt attended nursing training at Memorial Hospital in Charlotte, and enjoyed a 15 year career as a school nurse for Anderson School District 5. She was also a homemaker and an excellent and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren who she loved dearly. Anne was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she taught fifth grade Sunday school for many years. In addition to her husband, Stan, she is survived by two sons, Terry Honeycutt and his wife, Chris, of Anderson, and Ritter Honeycutt of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; one daughter, Sissy Madden and her husband, Mark, of Anderson; 2 sisters, Edith Hamilton and husband, Dr. Frank Hamilton, of Charlotte, and Lauretta Rich of Clifton, NJ; and four grandchildren, Kinsley Bailey and husband, David, Lawes Honeycutt, Landon Madden, and McKenna Honeycutt. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Anne Honeycutt will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, with Rev. Paul Frey and Rev. Bob Carlisle officiating. A private interment with family present will take place prior to the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at Trinity United Methodist Church following the service until 3:00 p.m. The family requests that instead of flowers, contributions in memory of Anne be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries, 509 East Orr Street, Anderson, SC 29621, or to Mission Development Ministries, 208 Bowen Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.
