Smith and Marie Allen Smith, Mrs. Long graduated from Girls' High School and was a homemaker and ran a day care in her home for many years. She was a member of Pope Drive Baptist Church.She is survived by two sons and their wives, Dan and Mary Long, and Todd and Lisa Long, all of Anderson, as well as grandchildren, Travis Long and his wife Mandy, Craig Long and his fianc' Alexis Horn, Mikie Long, Emma Long, and Sofia Long. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Long is predeceased by her husband, John Howard Long, a son, Andy Long, and a former daughter-in-law, Gail Long.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
