Anne S. Woerner, 64, of Liberty died Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at her home. Anne was born on June 27th, 1951 in Anderson County and was the daughter of the late William and Doris Owens Skinner. Anne was a school teacher in School District 5 at Lakeside Middle School for 30 years. She was a Graduate of Clemson University Class of 1973. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 33 years: Doug Woerner; her step-father, James Arthur 'Ott' Reed; step sisters: Jamie Cheshire of Anderson and Cindy Connell of Columbia; three step brothers: Bill Connell of Anderson, James Richard Reed of Greenville, and William C. Reed of Landrum; a special friend: Mary Shields; and her dog: Wilbury. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her step-father, Jim Connell and her step brother, Tim Connell. A memorial service will be held at St. Michaels Episcopal Church on Monday, September 14th, 2015 at 2:00pm with the Father Lee Dudley officiating. The church will have a reception for family and friends following the service. At other times Anne's family will be at her residence.
