Anneliese Marneth Wacker, age 98, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Anna Volk Marneth. During her career, she owned and operated European Tours Travel Agency. She enjoyed traveling and was always ready for an adventure. Anneliese also loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her only son, Clinton Wacker and his wife Louise, from Bedford, TX; her grandchildren, Ryan, Amanda, and Neal; and great-grandchildren, Anneliese, Allison, and Henry. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wacker; two sisters, Helga Lorey and Hildegard Kirchhof; and one brother, Heinrich Marneth. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church with Friar Henry Fulmer, OFM.
