Annemarie Pauline Lanteigne Jones, age 92, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at her home.

Born July 10, 1931, in Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Aurele Lanteigne and Delmia Morais Lanteigne. She was married for 62 years to Harold Winston Jones until his death in 2021. She was also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Joyce J. Sutton and Jacalyn J. Jones; 2 brothers, Paul Lanteigne (Gilberte) and Denys Lanteigne (Monique); 1 sister, Gloria Jones (Fred); and 2 grandchildren.

Annemarie enjoyed a long and varied career in nursing. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph J. Jones (Pauline) and James J. Jones (Tammie Dargan); daughter, Julie J. Jones; brothers, Aurelien Lanteigne (Yolande) and Allain Lanteigne (Muriel); sisters, Bert Solon (John) and May Turpin; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prisma Health Upstate Pediatric Oncology Inpatient Unit.

The family will be at the residence.
