Annette Williams Jackson, age 84, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born November 9, 1939, in Abbeville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Claude Telford Williams and Rosie Estelle Moore Williams. She was married to Jimmy David Jackson until his death in 2022. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Vanessa Lynn Gurley and Debbie Faye Whitt; brothers, Roger Williams and Kenneth Williams; and sister, Glenda Landreth.

Annette enjoyed gardening, especially flower gardening. She also enjoyed listening to gospel music. Annette loved her animals but most of all she loved her family. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her brothers, Thomas Williams (Lisa) and Ronald Williams; sisters, Claudine Sessoms and Delores Garrett (Roy); stepsons, Doyle Jackson (Robin) and Doug Jackson (Alice); two grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 22, 2024, from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Delores and Roy Garrett, 204 Haynie Mill Rd., Belton, SC 29627.
