Born September 30, 1919, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Jackson Ligon and the late Jennie Barnwell Smith Ligon. She was married to the late Joseph Spottswood Geer. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and Mrs. Geer was committed to her Lord and Savior. She was a life-long faithful fifth generation member of First Presbyterian Church. She lived and loved her life and was an inspiration to all.
