ANNIE TROTTER SARGENT September 19, 1922 - February 17, 2006DORA, ALMrs. Annie Gevenia Trotter Sargent, age 83, of 7015 Highway 78 West, Dora, AL, formerly of Hembree Road, Anderson, SC, died Friday, February 17, 2006 at Ridgewood Nursing Home in Jasper, AL.Born in Anderson, SC on September 19, 1922, Mrs. Sargent was the daughter of the late Henry Trotter and Lorene Timms Trotter and wife of the late Hiram Albert Sargent. She was a homemaker and a member of Six & Twenty Baptist Church.She is survived by sons, Tom Sargent and his wife, Jane of Denver, CO and the Reverend Lane Sargent and his wife, Judy of Sumiton, AL; four grandchildren, April Sargent of Denver, CO, Jeff Sargent and his wife, Beth of Cleveland, TN, Marc Sargent and his wife, Cindy of Sumiton, AL and Crystal Russell and her husband, Adam of Sumiton, Al and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Geneva McGill and Lura Moss Wilson and a brother, Furman Trotter. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Lane Sargent.
